Minette is the "great" wine of François. A sublime Gamay d'Auvergne old vines. Black ripe crisp cherry on the nose and palate. Supple but present tannins. Fruit and tannin are in no way inferior. But it's the tannin structure that gets our hearts racing here. It lets itself be followed on a clear fine trail to greet the smiling fruit again and again along the way.
