Directly pressed and fermented in a 720 l wooden barrel.
And here comes the terroir! Full of wine. Floral notes and mild yellow fruit. The ageing in wood is pleasantly present. Round and full-bodied. Slightly buttery. Goes in the direction of Burgundy with the rich limestone soils. A really nice expression of a Rheinhessen Chardonnay, in which the barrique is well integrated without getting out of hand. Supporting acidity. Lääänge. Cool and hearty in equal measure. Mega balance! Very nice.
