A blend of the local heroes Cesanese and Sangiovese from thirty year old vines planted on clay in Orvieto. The Cesanese grape brings bright red fruit and a wonderful scent of white pepper, while the Sangiovese brings encouraging freshness and acidity. This wine is compact and elegant, with clear tannins and a clean finish. A wine with an endearing sense of place.
