A wine with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and wild strawberries. The 18-month aging (in barrels a few years old) gives the 40-year-old Cabernet Franc a fine structure and fine tannins. A great and beautiful finish, open, clear, almost gourmet. This wine can be caraffed in its youth and otherwise will be happy to keep for some time.
