Pineau d'Aunis, aged 15 months in barrique. A peppery wine with hearty tannins that promise much for years to come, but already enjoyed now, a crisp, sturdy treat that finishes long on ripe dark berries.
Aphrodite 2019
24 months aging for this Chenin with some residual sugar. A cuvée that Renaud only makes in certain years when the quality of the grapes allows him to. What can we say except that Chenin is really magical :) Everything is found in this bottle, crisp fruit and gentle richness, the residual sugar gives a delicious touch, without heaviness, all carried by the special tension that makes you want to return sip after sip. An immense wine.
