Chardonnay 2021

The vines grow on a very special and unique side of Iphofen, the Sparrnbach and Weingut Weigand is the only one allowed to grow vines there, their Monopoly plot so to speak. 5 years ago they recultivated this beautiful site and the soils are even more impressive, a mixture of shell limestone and Keuper, interspersed with stony components. Pressed with the old basket press and fermented in small barrels. Aged on the lees for 9 months.
