"Ageno is a perfect example, now for the first time they have released two Agenos on sale in the same period, 2016 and 2019, although the 2017 was released earlier as it was already ripe. In 2019, Elena told me that she was really amazed at how this difficult vintage yielded directly accessible, ready-to-drink wines. I have never tasted the Ageno so fresh. It's lighter, less incisive in the otherwise always very deep fruit sweetness."
